TechnoKids

Established since 1993 in Oakville, Ontario, Canada, TechnoKids is a global company with offices around the world. We develop, distribute, and deliver curriculum that provide skills to help children succeed in the future.

We have invested thousands of hours developing our theme-based projects for children between four and 17 years old. These projects are created by experienced teachers and are age and developmentally appropriate. They have been thoroughly evaluated and field tested to ensure that they teach the necessary skills through innovative themes that excite, involve, and energise children. Through these projects, children develop problem-solving skills, logical thinking, self-confidence and positive attitudes as well as confidence in facts finding. Technical applications are used in the projects to help them become the social and business leaders of tomorrow.

Today, TechnoKids has offices and learning centres in 32 countries throughout North, Central and South Americas, Asia, Australia, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Our curriculum is used each day in over 1000 education institutions around the world to teach an estimated half a million children the skills that will best prepare them for tomorrow.

Because the TechnoKids curriculum focuses on the learning process itself, there are no standard answers, and children have a high degree of freedom to make decisions within the context of the project. Interactions between classmates and teachers take place frequently in the forms of discussions and games, and many of our projects finish with children making a presentation in front of their classmates. All our classes are conducted in English, providing more opportunity for children to practice their language skills outside of an academic environment. The learning outcome is a more informed child and his improved ability to interact with the world around him.

Technokids’ courses enhance children’s general knowledge in subjects such as General Studies (常識科) in primary school and Liberal Studies (通識科) in secondary school. We are one of the providers for the EMB’s Enrichment Programmes for Gifted Students in 2007.

In addition to the regular theme-based projects, Technokids also offers technology focused computer classes such as photo editing, website design and programming for kids seven years old to adults. We also conduct special workshops and seminars for parents from time to time.
